6 Steps Towards Plant Based Eating

This presentation presentation is actually designed for a face-to-face workshop style presentation.... but when the PTA asked me to present something nutrition related for the upcoming Vegetarian Festival.... Online seemed the best way to format it... given we are still smack bang in the middle of this COVID19 thing.


The Vegetarian Festival in Phuket is famous. Historically, people travelled from near and far to view the celebrations of this unique vegetarian festival in Thailand. It is a time where people eat vegetarian for a week or so to bring in good luck and to ward off evil.

From a dietitian's standpoint, I think hooray! A festival about eating Plant Based for a while? Sure! Why the hell not?! Even if its for a short period of time, it can do your body a lot of good. For your gut health, microbiota and digestive health!
